Duration: 3 - 5 days, max 3 candidates.

Description:  For those with no prior certificate in lift truck operation, this course covers everything from regulations, through safety and handling, basic driving skills, battery care, hydraulic system and use of controls, stacking/destacking, use of attachments, theoretical knowledge.  Three tests will be taken: pre-use check, theory, and practical skills.

Successful candidates will receive a Certificate of Competence entitling him/her to operate the same class of vehicle as tested.

Duration: 1 day, max 3 candidates

Description:  The HSE require that refresher courses are taken at regular intervals. This course will allow the operator to learn new skills, identify and practise weaker areas. A new certificate will be issued to successful candidates

Duration: 2 days, max 3 candidates

Description:  For those who have extensive experience (e.g. Operating a truck in a working environment for at least 12 months) but do not hold a certificate.

Description: Conversion courses are available on request. These courses allow candidates to drive another class of vehicle. e.g. they may have been tested on counterbalance but need to drive a reach truck. Certificate of competence will be issued for the new class.
